While reading through my Google reader yesterday, I stumbled across a blog entry with some information about joining a Pen Pal group on Melissa's blog Oh, My Darling! I thought to myself that this would be a great opportunity to meet new people, get something in the mail other than bills and junk, and a chance to have some of my work made into notecards for others around the world to enjoy. So that being said, I sent Melissa an email telling her to count me in. She quickly got back to me and said I was on the list and then within a few hours I had an email with my new penpals. Now Im excited about this because my other 3 pals are from all over...Heather in Chile, Monique in Florida and Carol in California. Melissa has asked that we take and post photographs of our exchanges and then share them on our blogs, which I will gladly do!

ReplyDeleteSo excited about being pen pals too! To tell you the truth, I've never really had a pen pal I didn't already know. And I've just recently started having fun with mail. Meaning I recently mailed three letters. My big plans for today after this crazy internet morning include a little collage time.

ReplyDelete@ Heather - Can't wait to get to know ya! I would love to be doing something that working at the office today. I have tons of pictures that I need to work on from a photoshoot I need to finish, to all these great challenges I want to participate in.
@ Carol - You win the award for being on top of it! I will probably have to wait til the weekend to get you lady's letters out. Busier than normal work week for me. BOO :( How dare they cut into my "me" time!
